IRETON -- Jared Peter Bootsma, 29, of Grand Island, Neb., and formerly of Ireton, died suddenly Saturday, April 16, 2005, in a farm accident at his acreage near Hawarden.

Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Trinity Lutheran Church in Hawarden with the Rev. Todd Bunge officiating. Burial will be in Grace Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from noon to 4:30 p.m. today (Tuesday) at the Porter Funeral Home in Hawarden. There will be a prayer service at 7 p.m., followed by visitation with the family until 8:30 p.m. at the church.
