Larry and Rhonda Bowers of Le Mars announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter Jennifer Bowers to Kenneth Clint Harvey, son of Kenneth Richard and Eileen Harvey of Freehold, N.J.

The couple will be married on Oct. 8, 2005, at St. John's Lutheran Church in Le Mars. The reception will follow at the Le Mars Convention Center.

Jennifer graduated from Le Mars Community High School in 1998. In 2002, she received her bachelor of arts degree in psychology from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. In 2004, she received her master's degree in criminal justice from Monmouth University, West Long Branch, N.J. She is employed as a paralegal at Heidman, Redmond, Fredregill, Patterson, Plaza, Dykstra & Prahl, LLP in Sioux City.

Kenneth graduated from The Marine Academy of Science & Technology at Fort Hancock in Sandy Hook, N.J. He is employed in the production department as a master controller at KCAU-TV in Sioux City.
