HAWARDEN -- Chester L. "Chet" Dagle, 85, of Hawarden, died Monday, March 28, 2005, at Royal C. Johnson Veterans Hospital in Sioux Falls, S.D.

Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at American Lutheran Church in Hawarden with the Rev. Jeff Swanson officiating. Burial will be in Grace HIll Cemetery, with military rites conducted by the Veterans of Foreign Wars and American Legion of Hawarden. Visitation will be after 1 p.m. today (Tuesday), with the family present at 7 p.m. and a prayer service at 8 p.m., at the church. Arrangements are under the directio of Porter Funeral Home in Hawarden.
