IRETON -- Wayne C. Knowles, 85, of Ireton, died Sunday, March 20, 2005, at Hillcrest Health Care Center in Hawarden, following a lengthy battle with cancer.

Memorial services were at 10 a.m. Saturday at First Reformed Church in Ireton. Burial was in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, with military rites conducted by American Legion Bertram Post 276 of Ireton. The Porter Funeral Home of Ireton was in charge of arrangements.
