IRETON -- Donald Royce Dougherty, 71 of Ireton, died Sunday, March 20, 2005, at his residence following a lengthy illness with cancer.

Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at Porter Funeral Home in Ireton. Burial will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, with a flag presentation by the American Legion Bertram Post 276 of Ireton. Visitation will begin at noon Wednesday, with the family present 7 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
