The engagement and approaching marriage Jodi Freberg of Minneapolis, Minn., and Zachary Krause of Le Mars is made known by their parents, CPT David and Maria Freberg of Kannapolis, N.C., and the Rev. Dan and Julia Krause of Le Mars.

The couple is planning a 7 p.m. ceremony on April 8, 2005, at First Baptist Church in Le Mars. The reception and dance at 8 p.m. to midnight will be held at the Le Mars Eagles Club.

Jodi is a 2003 graduate of Benson High School in Benson, Minn. She is a junior at North Central University in Minneapolis majoring in journalism. She is a food service specialist for the Minnesota Army National Guard.

Zachary is a 2003 graduate of Le Mars Community High School. He is a sophomore at North Central University, majoring in youth ministry. He is employed by North Central University Security.
