Kelli Frederes and Jon Arens of Remsen were united in marriage on Sept. 4, 2004, at St. Mary's Church in Remsen. The Rev. Tim Johnson and the Rev. Randy Schon officiated the 2 p.m. ceremony.

Parents of the couple are Fred and Mary Jane Frederes and Joe and Betty Arens, all of Remsen.

Matron of honor was Roxanne Henrich of Dallas, Texas, sister of the bride. Flower girl was Brooklyn Frederes, God-daughter of the bride.

Bridesmaids were Nicole Frederes of Minneapolis, Minn., Kendra Frederes of Iowa City, and Jenna Frederes of Iowa City, all sisters of the bride; Abby Arens of Iowa City, sister of the bridegroom and Karen Loutsch of Chicago, Ill. Junior bridesmaid was Ashton Frederes, niece of the bride.

Jeff Arens of Remsen, brother of the bridegroom, was best man, with Alec Arens, cousin of the groom as ring bearer.

Groomsmen were Chris Frederes of Remsen, brother of the bride; Chad Plathe of Ames, Clint Christman of Des Moines, Aaron Hauser of Raleigh, N.C., and Mike Fisher of Des Moines.

Seating the guests were Chris Arens of Remsen, cousin of the bridegroom; Adam Henrich of Dallas, Texas, brother-in-law of the bride; Jon Schmidt of Ankeny and Kris Rakers of Des Moines.

The wedding reception was held at the Avalon Ballroom in Remsen.

Following their wedding trip to Jamaica, the couple is at home in Henderson, Nev.
