Taylor Leigh Carroll and Shane Robert Bork were united in marriage on Sept. 18, 2004, in a 5 p.m. ceremony at Morningside Lutheran Church in Sioux City. The Rev. Renee Spaulding and the Rev. Craig Miller officiating.

Parents of the couple are Michael and Sheri Carroll of Sioux City and Rockie and Jane Bork of Remsen. Honored guests were the couples grandparents, Ken and Barb Carroll, Bill and Mona Schutte, and Wesley Hirschman.

Carmin Miller was pianist and Connie Krantz, aunt of the bride, and Mandy DeBoar, cousin of the bride, were vocalists.

Maids of honor were Jodi Tedesco and Samantha Pinney. Bridesmaids were Jennifer Harris, Layhla Aslani and Jenna Sandman. Junior bridesmaid was Taylor Bork, niece of the bridegroom. Flower girls were Jenna Bork, niece and godchild of the bridegroom, and Jaylen Bork, daughter of the couple. Personal attendant was Staci Dana.

Best men were Chad Bork and Kellie Bork, brothers of the bridegroom. Groomsmen were Keith Gengler, Brian Williams and Branden Gramlow. Junior groomsman was Jeremy Bork, nephew of the bridegroom. Ringbearers were Brayden and Koby Bork, nephews of the bridegroom. Personal attendant was Sean Stephens.

Seating the wedding guests were Chuck Welke, Dennis Stabe, Brian Newberg, and John Sivesind, cousin of the bridegroom.

A reception was held at the Plaza Hotel in Sioux City with Jason and Susan Way, aunt and uncle of the bride and Kevin and Donna Gramlow, friends of the couple, as host and hostesses.

Shane is a graduate of Remsen-Union high school and the University of South Dakota. He is employed as an assistant manager at Scheels All Sports in Sioux City. Taylor is a graduate of North High School and employed as an assistant manager of Rooster's Harley-Davidson, at the mall, in Sioux City. The couple resides in Sioux City.
