Marie E. (Hultgren) Heeren, 92, of Akron, died Thursday, Jan. 20, 2005, at the Akron Care Center.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Wesley Heeren.

Funeral services were at 10:30 a.m. today (Monday) at Union Creek Lutheran Church, rural Akron. Burial was in Union Creek Lutheran Cemetery. Visitation was after noon Sunday at the Carlson Funeral Home-Schroeder Chapel in Akron, with the family present after 6 p.m. and a prayer service at 7 p.m.
