Werner Paul "Vener" Hoffman, 99, of Sioux City, and a Le Mars area native, died Saturday, Jan. 15, 2005, at a Sioux City hospital.

Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Trinity Lutheran Church in Sioux City. Burial will be in Graceland Park Cemetery, with graveside military rites. Visitation will be from 3 to 8 p.m. today (Tuesday) at Nelson-Berger Northside Chapel in Sioux City, with the family present from 6 to 8 p.m. and a Masonic service at 7 p.m.
