Waldemar W. "Wally" Krause, 80, of Akron, died Tuesday, Jan. 11, 2005, at his residence.

Service will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Big Springs Baptist Church, rural Alcester, S.D. Military rites will be conducted by the American Legion Alfred E. Hoschler Post 186 of Akron. Burial will be at a later date.

Visitation will be after 3 p.m. Friday with the family present after 5:30 p.m and a prayer service at 7 p.m., all at the church. The Carlsen Funeral Home-Schroeder Chapel in Akron.
