Amy Hoekstra of Sioux Center and Benji Hulstein of Orange City were united in marriage on Aug. 20, 2004, at First Reformed Church in Sioux Center. The Rev. Carl Boersma officiated the ceremony.

Parents of the couple are Pete and LaVonne Hoekstra of Sioux Center and Bob and Linda Hulstein of Orange City.

Matron of honor was Lisa Mouw. Bridesmaids were Nikki Hoekstra, sister-in-law of the bride; Nicole Terpstra, sister of the bridegroom; and Julie Bajema. Flowergirls were Gillian Hoekstra and Peyton Terpstra, nieces of the couple.

Best man was Bob Hulstein, father of the bridegroom. Groomsmen were Brian Hoekstra, brother of the bride; Greg Terpstra, brother-in-law of the bridegroom; and Ross Huizenga.

Personal attendant was Jena Freiborg.

Ushers were Wade Hofland, Jon Jeltema, Dan Mouw, and Scott Van Horssen.

The reception and dance were held at Sioux Golf and Country Club in Alton.

Amy is employed at Wells' Dairy, Inc., in Le Mars and Benji works for New York Life Insurance Company in Orange City. Following their wedding trip to Cancun, the couple is at home in Orange City.
