Kara Elizabeth Stauffer of Hinton and George Timothy Glass of Sioux City, were united in marriage Saturday, Sept. 18, 2004, at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in Sioux City. The Rev. Merlin Schrad officiated the ceremony.

Nuptial music was provided by soloist Claudia Hardy and organist Carolyn Price.

Parents are Larry and Judy Stauffer of Hinton and Eunice Zeitler of Sioux City. Grandparents of the bride are Arnie Klosterman and Georgia Gibler.

Matron of honor was Allison Poulson, with Ranee Held and Annie Mouw, sisters of the bride, and Cam Kounkel, Julee Kovarna and Jill Johns as bridesmaids. Brooke Stauffer, niece of the bride, was flowergirl.

Best man was Joe Glass, brother of the bridegroom. Groomsmen were Mike Stauffer and Chad Stauffer, brothers of the bride, Tim Klein, Luke Binneboese and Dave Bucheit. Ringbearers were Wyatt Stauffer and Isaac Mouw, nephews of the bride.

The bride's personal attendant was Donnie Burgad.

Seating the guests were Brad Held and Gary Mouw, brothers-in-law of the bride and Benjimin Held, nephew of the bride.

The reception was held at the Hinton Community Center.

Kara and George are graduates of Western Iowa Technical Community College. Kara is a dental assistant and George is employed with Wells' Dairy, Inc.

Following a wedding trip to Maui, Hawaii, the couple is at home in Sioux City.
