Robin Wendte and Ken Arens of Omaha were united in marriage April 17, 2004, at First Lutheran Church in South Sioux City, Neb. The 4 p.m. ceremony was officiated by Pastor Karl Konig and Pastor Kruse.

Parents are Roger and Pam Wendte of South Sioux City and Larry and Carolyn Arens of Remsen.

Nuptial music was provided by Kelsey Trejo, Chris Arens and Valerie Sullivan, accompanied at the organ by Kathy Baker.

Maid of honor was DeMauris Berens of Dunlap with Linda Fittje of Casper Wyo., Lynette McBirnie of Boone. Rachel Friehe of Omaha, Khris Trejo of Remsen and Beth Peters of Le Mars, as bridesmaids. Junior bridesmaids were Kelsey and Anyssa Trejo of Remsen. Honorary bridesmaid was Donna Anderson of South Sioux City, Neb.

Flowergirls were Emma Galles, Emilee Fittje and Sydney Peters.

Bryan Arens was best man with Clint Tritz, Bart Galles, Randy Schiltz and Jeff Weiler, all of Remsen and Dan Prentis of Omaha, serving as groomsmen.

Brett Galles, Mitchell Trejo and Ethan Peters were ringbearers.

Seating the guests were Chris Crosby of Omaha, Chad Wendte of South Sioux City; Steve Klein of Remsen, Dan Roling of Cedar Falls and Mark Galles of Remsen.

The wedding reception was held at the Sergeant Bluff Community Hall.

The bride graduated in 1989 from South Sioux City High School and is a 1995 graduated of the University of Nebraska-Omaha where she earned her bachelor of science degree in marketing. She is employed by Noll Human Resource services as a recruiter.

The bridegroom is a 1991 graduate of Remsen St. Mary's High School and is employed with American Backhoe as an equipment operator.

The couple traveled to Orlando for their wedding trip and are at home in Omaha, Neb.
