Sarah and Travis Hinspeter
The wedding celebration of Sarah Kathrine Juhl and Travis Lyle Hinspeter, was held Saturday, June 5, 2004, in a 6:30 p.m. ceremony at the Des Moines Botanical Center in Des Moines. Judge Artis Reis officiated the service.

Hosts were Neal and Wendy Skellenger, cousins of the bride. Bridal attendant was Tammy Kauffman.

Parents of the bride are Jeff Juhl and Shelly Thoen, and parents of the bridegroom are Lyle and Patty Hinspeter. Grandparents of the bride are Vivian Thoen and Paul and Glenda Jepsen.

Trumpeter was Kelly Carlson of the ISU Concert Band. Harpist was Kristen Carlson of the Des Moines Symphony.

Three sisters of the bride, Marin Juhl, Thea Juhl and Mattie Juhl, were maids of honor.

Best man was Lyle Hinspeter, father of the bridegroom. Groomsmen were Steve Braun and Luke Irwin.

Three cousins of the bride, Chad Burns, Brett Burns and Todd Burns, seated the guests.

The reception and dance followed the ceremony in the Oak and Willow Rooms at the Botanical Center.

The white calla lilies in the bridal bouquet were in memory of Raymond Thoen, Sarah's grandfather; Lyle and Margaret Hinspeter and Elmer and Florence Thorpe, grandparents of Travis.

Travis is employed by UPS as a supervisor in Des Moines. Sarah is employed at U.S Bank in Ankeny.

The couple is at home at 113 North West Coral Lane, Ankeny, Iowa, 50021.
