Alison and Jeremy McPherson
Alison Arens of Le Mars and Jeremy McPherson of Akron, were united in marriage May 8, 2004, at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Le Mars. The Rev. Bill McCarthy officiated the 2 p.m. ceremony.

Parents are David and Vicky Arens of Le Mars and Rick and Deb McPherson of Akron.

Nuptial music was provided by Bob Walrod, Joyce Boyer, Brooke Klemme and Dorothy Arens, soloists, with Carla Jenness as organist.

Christina Kellen of Le Mars, and Laura Rickabaugh of West Des Moines, sisters of the bride, were matrons of honor, with Tina Huls, Le Mars, Sandra Renken, Brunsville, and the bridegroom's sisters Teresa McPherson of Tea, S.D., and Brianna McPherson of Akron, as bridesmaids.

Junior attendants of the bride and bridegroom were Frankie Rickabaugh, niece of the bride, and Joel Brenner, nephew of the bridegroom.

Best man was Shawn Frerichs of Akron. Groomsmen were Bret Banks, Josh Meyers, Travis Moffatt, Cody Moffatt and Andy Alloway, all of Akron.

Brent Rickabaugh, Eric Kellen, Nicole Treloar and Barb Freking seated the guests.

The wedding dinner and reception were at 5:30 p.m. at the upper level of the Le Mars Convention Center.

Alison is a 1999 graduate of Le Mars Community High School and is a real estate loan assistant at American Bank.

Jeremy is a 1997 graduate of Akron-Westfield High School and is employed at Hi-Tech Electric.

The couple traveled to Caesars Pocono Resorts in Lakeville, Pa., for their wedding trip.

They are at home in Akron.
