DAVENPORT -- Dorothy "Bubby" Aller, 69, of Jupiter, Fla., a Le Mars native and longtime Davenport resident, died unexpectedly Thursday, June 10, 2004, at Genesis Medical Center East Campus in Davenport.
Dorothy Alice Keough was born Oct. 10, 1934, in Le Mars, a daughter of Vern and Molly (Nicholson) Keough. She was united in marriage to Merlin E. Merle" Aller, on June 6, 1959 in Waterloo.
Bubby was a former member of Sacred Heart Cathedral, Davenport; she was currently a member of St. Jude's Catholic Church, DeQuesta, Fla., and the CCW, DeQuesta Country Club, and Bear Country Club, Acme, MI.
She enjoyed traveling with her family, and was especially proud to be a grandmother.
Survivors include her husband, Merle of Jupiter, Fla., and a son and daughter-in-law, Doug and Jill Aller, Oak Park, Ill.; a granddaughter, Madelin Aller, Oak Park; sisters, Kathleen DeJager of Bettendorf and Pat (Mrs. Jim) Tippery, Waterloo.
In addition to her parents, three brothers, Richard, Clyde and Randy preceded her in death.
Funeral services and Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 a.m. Saturday at Sacred Heart Cathedral, Davenport. Burial will be in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Davenport. Visitation was today (Friday) at the Halligan-McCabe-DeVries Funeral Home in Davenport.
