Parents of the couple are George and Jan Erickson of Springfield, Minn., and Gaylan and Bonnie Lassen of Remsen.
Lucas Norell was pianist. Jerris Watkins and Slade Watkins were soloists.
Nuptial music included "Cannon in D," "Answered Prayer," "Lord Make Us One," and "Majesty with Polonaise."
The entrance to the sanctuary was preceded on either side by columns adorned with wine-colored flowers, curved benches, and bird baths holding floating candles and roses. The pews were dressed with silk roses and white tooling leading to a stage hosting tall pillars connected by an archway tastefully dressed with flowers and ferns.
The bride wore a white gown featuring soft wine rose print and metallic embroidery. She also wore the silver necklace that was a gift from the bridegroom in 2001 after their first year of dating.
Korissa Lassen of Fort Madison, sister of the bridegroom, was maid of honor. Bridesmaids included Jen Erickson, sister of the bride; Megan Anderson, Randi Brucklacher and Lanay Robison
Levi Markwardt of Spirit Lake was best man. Groomsmen were Dennis Galles, Douglas Erickson, brother of the bride, Nathan Smith and Josiah Dunlap. Ushers were Brian Schwarzrock, Michael Wallinga, and Lucas Krysl.
A reception for 300 guests was held at the Hospers Community Center in Hospers.
Following a wedding trip to Jamaica, the couple is residing in Orange City.
Kristin is a 1999 graduate of Springfield High School and a 2003 graduate of Northwestern College with a degree in exercise science. She is employed in the purchasing department at Med-Tec, Inc. in Orange City.
Daniel, who graduated from Le Mars Community High School in 1997 and from Northwestern College in 2001, is employed as a database administrator in Northwestern's computer department.
