Mary Ann Regan, 74, of Norfolk, Neb., died Sunday, May 9, 2004, at Faith Regional Health Services in Norfolk.
The daughter of Paul and Hazel (Shaffer) Lyden was born Nov. 20, 1929, in Shenandoah. She graduated from Shenandoah High School in 1947.
She married Kenneth Regan on Dec. 31, 1949, in Shenandoah. Because of her husband's occupation, they lived in cities in Iowa, Kansas, Colorado and Texas before moving to Norfolk in 1970.
Mrs. Regan was a member of Sacred Heart-St. Mary's Catholic Church in Norfolk and its Altar Society. She volunteered at Faith Regional Services in Norfolk.
Survivors include her husband; three sons and their wives, Paul and Sydney of North Bend, Neb., Kevin and Kim of Le Mars, and Vince and Laurie of Duluth, Minn.; two daughters, Patricia and Reg Ayers of York, Neb., and Laura and John Stafford of St. Paul, Minn.; one sister, Eloise Vodila of Charleston, N.C.; two brothers, Warren Lyden of Rockport, Mo., and Gene Lyden of Pigeon Forge, Tenn.; and seven grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister.
Memorial services were Wednesday, May 12, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Norfolk. The Rev. David Belt officiated. A private burial was held at Hillcrest Memorial Park Cemetery Columbarium.
