Verle E. Barwick, 81, of Akron, died Monday, April 12, 2004, at a Sioux City hospital from complications of Parkinson's disease and pneumonia.

Survivors include his wife, the former Colleen J. Herbold.

Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at Wesley United Methodist Church in Akron.
