Karli Lillie and Curtis Frerichs of Spencer, were united in marriage Dec. 6, 2003, at First English Lutheran Church in Spencer. The Rev. Paul Kahldahl officiated the 7 p.m. double ring candelight ceremony, in a setting of pionsettias and evergreen garland at the altar.

Soloists were the bride and Jean Johnson.

Parents of the couple are Dr. Greg and Jan Lillie of Pensecola, Fla., and Stan and Marlys Frerichs of Le Mars.

Man of honor was Beau Lillie of Denver, Colorado, brother of the bride. Wendy Ahlrich and Chelly Plueger of Spencer and Liz Kardell of Des Moines, were bridesmaids. Flowergirl was Tori Cooper.

Cary Collins of Indianland, S.C., was best man, with Chad Plueger of Spencer, Bill Conger of Kansas City and Dave Van Roekel of Iowa City as groomsmen. Ringbearer was Westin Smith, son of the bride.

Bryan Mulder, Mark Flikkema and Chris Frerichs seated the guests.

The reception followed the ceremony at the Milford Community Hall for 250 guests.

Karli graduated in 1996 from Central Christian Academy in Omaha and is employed as office manager at Motor Inn of Spencer. Curtis is a 1991 graduate of Le Mars Community High School and a 1995 graduate of Wayne State College. He is employed as a teacher's aid and coach at Spencer Community Schools.

The couple is at home at 413 Eleventh Street, Spencer, Iowa, 51301, following their wedding trip to Estes Park, Colo.
