Stephanie and Randy Ries
Stephanie Jennrich of Arlington Heights, Ill., and Randy Ries of Akron, were united in marriage June 20, 2003, in a 4:30 p.m. double ring ceremony at Saint Edna's Catholic Church in Arlington Heights. Father Miranda was officiant.

Parents of the couple are Ken and Louisa Jennrich of Arlington Heights and Richard and Sharon Ries of Akron.

Ashley Jennrich of Arlington Heights was maid of honor with Amy Traversone of Mount Prospect, Ill., Heidi Kiester of Lincoln, Neb., Brianne Hinz of Kansas City, Mo., and Lynn Anderson and Emily Herele, both of Omaha, Neb., as bridesmaids. Sophie Baldizan was flowergirl.

Best man was Brad Nelson of Lincoln. Groomsmen were Byron Gruber, Lint Piper and Eric Hughes, all of Lincoln, Scott Miller and Jon Meister, both of Le Mars. Ringbearer was Salatore Arnieri.

The wedding dinner and reception followed the ceremony at the Stonegate Country Club for 250 guests.

Stephanie earned her BSBA in accounting and English in 2002 from the University of Nebraska/Lincoln, and her masters degree in professional accountancy from the same university in 2003. She is currently working for an accounting firm in Omaha.

Randy is a 1999 graduate of Le Mars Community High School. He earned his bachelor of science degree in food science and technology from the University Nebraska in 2002, and will receive his masters degree in food science and technology research and business from the same university in May 2004.

Following their wedding trip to Las Vegas, Nev., the couple is at home in Lincoln.
