Michael Alesch, 52, of Bradenton, Fla., and an Alton native and area resident, died Monday, Feb. 9, 2004, at a hospital in St. Petersburg, Fla., from injuries suffered in a motorcycle accident the previous Saturday.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Laurence and Valeria (Arens) Alesch.

A memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Remsen.
