Crisinda and Brian Tooker
Crisinda Vander Pol of Newkirk and Brian Tooker of Orange City were united in marriage Aug. 15, 2003, at the Newkirk Reformed Church with Pastor Dennis Heitbrink officiating.

Crisinda is the daughter of Jim and Emily Vander Pol of Newkirk. Grandparents of the bride are Harvey and Carol Vander Pol of Orange City.

Brian is the son of Dennis and Joy Tooker of Orange City. His grandparents are Jolene Hamann of Le Mars and Harold and Carol Tooker of Merrill.

Bell ringers were Trenton Tooker and Austin Jeltema, both nephews of the bridegroom. Nuptial music was provided by Pam De Haan at the organ; Nettie De Jong at the piano, and vocalists Ron and Adri Smit.

A reading was given during the ceremony by Jen Bergsma.

Michele Adams, sister of the bride, was matron of honor, with Amanda Lyfogt, Katie Jeltema, sister of the bridegroom, Brittany Vander Pol, sister-in-law of the bride, and Sara Tooker, sister-in-law of the bridegroom, as bridesmaids.

Personal attendants were Melissa Witt, cousin of the bride, and Renee Vande Brake. Flowergirl was Shaelyn Adams, niece of the bride.

Justin Vande Brake was best man. Groomsmen were Jamie Tooker, brother of the bridegroom, Michael Vander Pol, brother of the bride, Jon Jeltema, brother-in-law of the bridegroom, and John Adams, brother-in-law of the bride. Ringbearer was Brett Barthman, nephew of the bride.

Seating the guests were Jeremy Dau, Eric Lotgaard, Josh Meis and Jon Vander Wel.

The wedding dinner-reception and dance were held following the ceremony at the Sioux Golf and Country Club.

Following their wedding trip to Cancun, Mexico, the couple is at home at Orange City. Both are working in Sioux Center where the bride is employed at American State Bank and the bridegroom is employed at Pella Corporation.
