COTTONWOOD, Ariz. -- Catherine Constance Harrington, 61, of Cottonwood, Ariz., died Jan. 28, 2004.
She was born April 18, 1942, in Lohrville, Iowa, the daughter of the late Edward and Genevieve Burke. The Harrington family lived in Le Mars in the late 1970s and 1980s.
She worked in social service at the former Marcus J. Lawrence Hospital (now Verde Valley Medical Center). She was also a member of Our Lady of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church.
Survivors include her husband, John Harrington; four daughters, Maureen Koopman of Topeka, Kan., Deb Wilhelm of Springfield, Ore., Colleen Harrington of Anchorage, Alaska, and Teresa Harrington of Chandler, Ariz.; two sons, Kirk Harrington of New York City, N.Y., and Ryan Harrington of Washington, D.C.; five sisters, Marilyn Rossow of Adel, Jeri Brend of Churdan, Eleanor Monahan of Rockwell City, Dorothy Ellyson of Alamo, Texas, and Martha Miller of Ashburn, Va.; and two grandchildren.
A brother Ed Burke preceded her in death.
A memorial Mass was held Saturday, Jan. 31, at Our Lady of Immaculate Conception Church in Cottonwood.
Westcott Funeral Home of Cottonwood was entrusted with arrangements.
