About 200 residents have reservations for Saturday's Le Mars Area Chamber of Commerce annual dinner where the Citizen of the Year Award will be announced.
Another surprise will be the second annual Business of the Year Award. Wells' Dairy Inc. was named to last year's award.
Also honored will be:
* Employees of the month recipients;
* Boss of the quarter recipients;
* Retiring Chamber board members;
* Retiring LBIC board members; and,
* United Way businesses.
Todd Wendt will take the helm from Matt Washburn, 2003 Chamber president, who becomes vice president for membership services and community development.
Entertainment will include song stylist Lynn Rothrock in a mix of jazz, musical theatre, pop, and easy listening. Also performing will be the award-winning Crimson and Black Show Choir from Le Mars Community High School under the direction of Brian Johnson.
An action video sequence will feature Le Mars' own humorous version of Laura Croft and Indiana Jones, the evening's emcees. The act of "Cone-Ac" returns to popular demand.
The social hour starts at 6 p.m. with dinner at 7 p.m. Jan. 31 in the upper level of the Le Mars Convention Center.
