Kyler James Fjeldheim, two-week-old infant son of Lance and Geralynn Fjeldheim of Sioux City, died unexpectedly Thursday, Nov. 27, 2003, at a Sioux City hospital.
Kyler James was born Thursday, Nov. 11, 2003, in Sioux City, the son of Lance E. and Geralynn S. (Puterbaugh) Fjeldheim.
Survivors include his parents; two sisters, Karissa Kay, age 5 and Kiana Marie, age 2; maternal grandparents, Gerald and Ann Puterbaugh of Cavour, S.D.; paternal grandparents, Clarence and Theresa Fjeldheim of Aberdeen, S.D.; maternal great-grandparents, Ervin and Viola Puterbaugh of Cavour, S.D.; paternal great-grandparents, Orland and Rita Fjeldheim of Herreid, S.D., and Kathryn Lovo of Pollock, S.D.; aunts and uncles, Kris and Steve O'Brien, Kari Hoeft, Kathi and Mike Mueller, Kim Puterbaugh, Gerad and Ranae Puterbaugh, Stephanie and Dan Bruckner, Brandon Fjeldheim and Renae Fjeldheim; and five cousins.
Funeral services were at 10 a.m. today (Monday) at St. Michael Catholic Church in Sioux City with the Rev. Timothy Hogan officiating. Burial was in Calvary Cemetery in Sioux City. Visitation was from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday, with a rosary service at 6:30 p.m. and a vigil service at 7 p.m. at the Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel in Sioux City.
