Lindsay Kay Brommer and Scott Sterrett Speer were married July 26, 2003, at Central Reformed Church in Sioux Center with the Rev. Doug Tensen, uncle of the bride, officiating.

Parents of the couple are Jim and Lavonne Brommer and Stan and Nancy Speer of Sioux Center. Grandparents are Don and Anne Brommer and Marian Speer of Sioux Center, and Rod and Colleen Scholten of Le Mars. Great-grandmothers are Jennie Heemstra of Orange City and Clara Scholten of Le Mars.

The ceremony included vocalists Wayne Evenhuis, uncle of the bride, Jennifer Scholten, cousin of the bridegroom, and the mother of the bridegroom. Minerva Bomgaars was organist and Roxann Dobesh was pianist.

Jennifer Luckritz, sister of the bride, was matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Karli Threadgold, Mindy Rademacher and Laura Rosenboom. Sarah Achterhoff, cousin of the bridegroom, was flowergirl and her brother, Ethan Achterhoff, was ringbearer.

The bride's personal attendant was Jennifer Eldine.

T. J. Speer, brother of the bridegroom, was best man. Groomsmen wereCharles Brommer, brother of the bride, Doug Mosher and J.J. Franken.

Seating the guests were Todd Luckritz, brother-in-law of the bride, and Kyle Hiemstra, Craig Schuiteman and Corey Adkins.

A reception, dinner and dance took place at the Sioux Country Club at Alton. Master After their wedding trip to Jamaica, the couple resides in Sioux Falls, S.D.

Lindsay graduated from South Dakota State University and is a nurse in the intensive care unit at Avera McKenna Hospital in Sioux Falls. Scott is a senior at SDSU, majoring in finance and works at Dakotah Bank, also in Sioux Falls.
