Sara and Jaysen Stevenson
Sara Curry and Jaysen Stevenson of Sioux Falls, S.D., were united in marriage August 23, 2003, at St. John's Lutheran Church in Le Mars. Officiant for the 3 p.m. double ring ceremony was the Rev. Gary Landsness.

Lighting the candles were Jodi Lidtke and Jill Stevenson.

Parents of the couple are Don and Sandy Curry of Le Mars and Leroy and Karen Stevenson of Sibley.

Nuptial music was provided by vocalists: Charles Bogh, Christy Curry Hoyland, Nancy Dill, Lisa Bogh, Julie Brazil and Mary Jeffcoat; instrumentalist Jennifer Dobrenz Wallstedt; and organist Tim Meier.

Personal attendants were Valerie Kestner and Missy Kenton.

Mary Jeffcoat was maid of honor, with Julie Brazil, Lisa Bogh, Lisa Wilhelm Mossengren, Jennifer Dobrenz Wallstedt and Maren VanDeWater, as bridesmaids

Emily Brazil and Caitlin Jeffcoat were flowergirls.

Best man was Scott Timmerman, and groomsmen were Tom Harper, Jeff Gruis, Mike Boomsma, Chris Kayl and Kevin Rokusek.

The reception was held at 5 p.m. at the Le Mars Convention Center.

Sara is a graduate of Le Mars Community High School and St. Olaf College, Northfield, Minn. She completed her graduate schooling at Iowa State College of Veterinary Medicine in Ames, and is a doctor at Veterinary Emergency Hospital in Sioux Falls.

Jaysen is a graduate of Sibley-Ocheyedan High School and the University of South Dakota at Vermillion. He completed his graduate studies at USD, and is employed as senior accountant for the City of Sioux Falls.

Following their wedding trip to Barrier Bay Resort in Canada, the couple is at home in Sioux Falls.
