Jackie Nemmers and Chip (Jed) Hoag of Le Mars were united in marriage Sept. 27, 2003, at St. James Catholic Church in Le Mars. The Rev. James Tigges officiated the 2 p.m. double ring ceremony.

Parents are Nick and Linda Nemmers of Le Mars and Dan and Charlotte Hoag of Struble.

Nuptial music was provided by Nicki Hoekstra, sister of the bride, as vocalist, with Jeanette Jensen at the organ.

The bridal attendants were Julie Nemmers-Stock, sister of the bride, as matron of honor; Chelle Zirbel, sister of the bridegroom; Beckey Bauder, cousin of the bride; Lisa DeRocher and Jen Ruden as bridesmaids. Junior bridesmaid was Taylor Stock, niece of the bride. Sydney Rand was flowergirl.

Paula Nemmers Skarich and Nina Obbink, sisters of the bride, were her personal attendants.

Best man was Brent Ruden, with Taylor Zirbel, nephew of the bridegroom, as junior groomsman. Groomsmen were Chris Wilson, Jesse Sneller, Jason "Buddah" Jackes and Josh Rolling. Austin Stock, nephew of the bride, was ringbearer.

Kevin Skarich, T.J. Obbink, Ryan Hoekstra, Jason Stock and Terry Zirbel, brothers-in-law of the couple, seated the guests.

The reception followed the ceremony at the Le Mars Convention Center.

Jacki is a 1999 graduate of Gehlen Catholic High School and is employed in production at Wells' Dairy Inc.

Chip (Jed) is a 1995 graduate of Le Mars Community High School and a 1997 graduate of Western Iowa Community College. He is employed at Archie's Waeside in Le Mars.

Following their wedding trip to Omaha, Minnesota and Chicago, the couple is at home in Le Mars.
