Christie Louise Yoder and Andy Ian Dougherty were united in marriage Sept. 27, 2003, in a 1 p.m. ceremony at the Le Mars Bible Church in Le Mars officiated by Pastor Fred Gums. Church decorations included American and British flags.

Parents are Cecil and Nancy Yoder of Le Mars and Janet and Ian Dougherty of Southampton, England.

Providing nuptial music were Andrew Martin, vocalist, accompanied at the organ by Karen Hess.

The bride wore a sleeveless wedding gown with high neckline and a band of beading at the waistline and hemline. Beading highlighted the back of the gown. She carried a single red rose.

Korissa Lassen was maid of honor, with Jeremy Yoder, Cherie Yoder, and Kala Yoder as bridal attendants. Paul Dougherty was best man. Groom's attendants were Marie Dougherty, Jon Breuninger and Andrew Martin.

Women in the wedding party wore red sleeveless gowns with beading at the neckline and each carried a single white rose.

Shane Kardell was usher.

The reception followed the ceremony in the Le Mars Bible Church hall.

Christie is employed at The Living Center in Le Mars.

Following their wedding trip to Whidbey Island off the coast of Washington state, the couple is at home in Le Mars.
