Jennifer Schroeder and Travis Todd of Washta, were united in marriage Aug. 9, 2003, at St. Michael's Church in Kingsley. Father Topf was the officiant at the 2 p.m. double ring ceremony.

Parents are Steve and Jeanie Schroeder of Washta and Marlan and Doreen Todd of Washta.

Grandparents of the couple are Clyde and Carol Schuttpelz of Le Mars; Art and Judy Schroeder of Remsen and Helga Lundquist of Cherokee.

Soloists were Adam and Tressa Petty, accompanied at the organ by Marilyn Nelson.

The bride's attendants were Tammy Conlon of Le Mars, as maid of honor with Katie Thompson of Sioux City and Melissa Parrill of South Sioux City as bridesmaids. Ellie Petty was flowergirl.

Keirin Cronin of Holstein was best man. Groomsmen were Corey Modrell of St. Louis, Mo., and Andy Jones of Cherokee. Tyler Petty was ringbearer.

Chris Schroeder, brother of the bride; Pat Schuttpelz, uncle of the bride; Adam Petty, brother-in-law of the bridegroom, and Kenny Knaack seated the guests.

The dinner and reception followed the ceremony at the Kingsley Community Center for 200 guests.

Jennifer is a graduate of Kingsley-Pierson High School. Travis is a graduate of Galva-Holstein High School and Iowa Lakes Community College. He is employed at Anderson Implement in Anthon.

Following their wedding trip to Orlando, Florida, the couple is at home in rural Washta.
