EDINA, Minn. -- Dorothy R. Harker, 78, of Edina, Minn., and Okoboji, and a former Le Mars resident, died Saturday, Oct. 11, 2003, following a courageous battle with lung cancer.
Dorothy was a lifelong member of the National T.T.T. Society, serving as Iowa state president, Minnesota state president and national president. She was a member of PEO and a lifelong volunteer of various charitable organizations.

Survivors include two daughters, Susan Harker Brunn and Vicki Harker Robinson; a son and daughter-in-law, Jim and Cheri Harker; grandchildren, Matthew and Alison Brunn, Peter, Maggi and Grant Robinson and Charli and Conrad Harker; her mother, Marga Ross; a sister-in-law, Mary Ross; and many loving nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father, Alva Ross; a brother, Howard Ross, and an infant daughter, Leslie.
Funeral services will be at 4 p.m. Thursday at the Washburn-McReavy Edina Chapel in Edina, Minn., with visitation from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Memorial Cemetery in Le Mars.
Memorials are preferred to the National T.T.T. Endowment Fund, American Cancer Society or the Iowa Great Lakes Maritime Museum Endowment Fund.
