Grandparents of the bride are Blanche Kramer of Hinton and the late Art Kramer; Marjorie LaBahn of Hinton and the late William LaBahn. Grandparents of the bridegroom are Darlene Holtz of Sioux City and the late Allen Joe Holtz; and Bonnie DeRocher of Le Mars and the late Robert DeRocher.
Candlelighters were Ricky VanderKooi, nephew of the bride, and Alexa Pick, cousin of the bridegroom.
Nuptial music was provided by Naomi Holtz, aunt of the bridegroom, and Irene Jones accompanied at the organ.
Joey Hill was her sister's matron of honor with Holli Davis, sister of the bride; Jessica DeRocher, sister of the bridegroom; Jessica VanderKooi and Jamie VanderKooi, nieces of the bride, and Bridget Bollmeyer, all of Hinton, as bridesmaids. Junior bridesmaid was Kelsey Howard, Sioux City, niece of the bride.
Flowergirls were Sierra DeRocher and Josie Holtz, cousins of the bridegroom.
Ringbearers were Jason VanderKooi and Carter Davis, nephews of the bride.
Bobby DeRocher, brother of the bridegroom, was best man. Groomsmen were Mike Holtz, uncle of the bridegroom; Nicholas Pick, cousin of the bridegroom of Remsen; Rustin Lake of Hinton, Jeremiah Schoenherr of Sioux City, and Bill LaBahn, brother of the bride.
Seating the guests were Brian Hill, Kyle Davis and Richard VanderKooi, all of Hinton; and Jeff Twohig of Sioux City, all brothers-in-law of the bride. Cale Davis, nephew of the bride was junior usher.
The wedding dinner and dance followed at the Hinton Community Center.
Mikki graduated in 1998 from Hinton Community School and from Le Mars Beauty College. She is a stylist at Classic Cuts in Sioux City. Brandon graduated in 1998 from Hinton Community School and attended classes at Western Iowa Tech. He is a home builder with David DeRocher Construction.
Following their wedding trip to Hawaii, the couple is at home on an acreage at Merrill.
