Alyssa Jane Petersen and Travis Jay Wildeboer of Cedar Falls, were united in marriage Aug. 12, 2003, at Northshore, Oahu Hawaii on Keiki Beach. Ken Klingman of Cedar Falls was officiant at the 6 p.m. double ring ceremony.

Parents are Roger and Rosie Petersen of Le Mars; Elaine Wildeboer and Robert and Shelly Wildeboer of Cedar Falls.

Hawaiian singer and ukulele player Pudgee provided nuptial music.

The bride wore a strapless off white gown with champagne colored trim. She carried Hawaiian exotic tropical flowers.

Amy Petersen, Le Mars, sister-in-law of the bride, was matron of honor with Bridget Wildeboer, sister of the bridegroom of Iowa City, as bridesmaid. Flowergirl was Regan Petersen, niece of the bride.

Bridal attendants wore strapless satin gowns in cinnamon color. They carried calla lillies and greens.

Personal attendants were Ashley Atherton, sister of the bridegroom of Cedar Falls and Ally Adler of Le Mars.

Best man as Dustin Wildeboer, brother of the bridegroom of Cedar Falls. Groomsmen were Justin Petersen, Josh Petersen, Jamie Petersen and Kyle Petersen, brothers of the bride of Le Mars; Brody Romsey (Matchmaker) of New York City; Jeff Law and Kris Schmidt of Cedar Falls; Kyle Klingman of Newton, Iowa and Andy Larson of Austin, Texas.

The 7 p.m. wedding dinner was served at Jameson's On The Beach of Oahu for 24 guests. A reception was held Aug. 23, at 5 p.m. at the Le Mars Convention Center.

Alyssa is a 2001 graduate of the University of Northern Iowa and is a carpenter's assistant. Travis is a finish carpenter.

The couple spent three weeks traveling the Islands of Hawaii. They will be moving to Colorado for the winter.
