Timothy and Jennifer Traver
Jennifer Lucille Petter and Timothy James Traver were united in marriage Aug.16, 2003, at St. John's Lutheran Church in Le Mars. The Rev. Gary Landsness officiated the 3 p.m. ceremony.

Parents of the couple are Lucy and Dave Petter of Le Mars, Cindy Traver of Le Mars, and Steve Traver of Paullina.

Grandparents of the couple are Elaine and Ralph Petter of Anoka, Minn.; Helen Hathaway and the late Kenneth Hathaway of Coon Rapids, Minn.; Adeline Traver and the late Burdette Traver of Paullina, and Shirley and James Tesch of Germantown.

Providing nuptial music were, vocalists D.J. Pick and Ashley Ferguson, pianist Terri Pauling, organist Kay Koch, and violinist Laura Wagner.

Maid of honor was Krista Crowley of Davenport. Bridal attendants were Kari Traver, Le Mars, sister of bridegroom; Kasie Sitzmann, Rochester, Minn.; Tracie Kapaun, Champlin, Minn., cousin of bride; Angie Sharbonno, St. Paul, Minn., cousin of bride and Amy Traver, Sioux City, sister-in-law of bridegroom. Junior bride was Makennah Petter, daughter of bride, with Allyssa Traver, niece of bridegroom as flowergirl.

The bride's personal attendants were Leah Reznikov, Columbia, S.C., and Emilee Brent, Ames.

Best man was Chris Traver of Sioux City, brother of bridegroom. The bridegroom's attendants were Tyler Petter, Mankato, Minn., brother of bride; Justin Sitzmann, Lincoln, Neb.; Austin Brent, Portland, Ore., Jeremy Fey, Daytona Beach, Fla., and Corey Newberg, Le Mars. Ringbearer was Brennen Kapaun, Champlin, Minn., cousin of bride.

Seating the wedding guests were Tom Ruhland and Monte Brent, both of LeMars.

A reception followed the ceremony at the Le Mars Convention Center.

Jennifer is a 1998 graduate of Le Mars Community High School and a 2003 graduate of Buena Vista University. She is currently teaching transitional kindergarten at Kinsey Elementary School in Sioux Center and coaching 8th grade volleyball for Sioux Center Community Middle School.

Timothy is a 1996 graduate of Le Mars Community High School, and is employed with Traver Plastering in Sioux City.

The couple has made their home in Le Mars, and are planning a trip to Jamaica.
