Karen Ann Kwiatek and Mark Allen Nuebel of Le Mars were united in marriage July 26, 2003, at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Le Mars. The Rev. Andrew Hoffmann officiated the 2 p.m. ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Richard and Darlene Kwiatek of Strongsville, Ohio, and the bridegroom is the son of Lynn and Donna Nuebel of Le Mars.

Maid and matron of honor were Tina Kwiatek and Jill Dexheimer, sisters of the bride, with Shelly Sitzmann, Laurie Quigley, Jen Kurth and Kathy Nuebel, sisters of the bridegroom, and Jackie Sitzmann of Le Mars, as bridesmaids. Noelle Kneip was the personal attendant. Flowergirl was Caleigh Allen.

Matt Britton, Le Mars, was best man. Groomsmen were Brad Sitzmann, Troy Kneip, Nick Ryan and Neal Meylor, all of Le Mars, J.J. Meyers of Cleveland, Ohio and Clancy O'Brien of Denver, Colo. Ringbearer was Jonathan Dexheimer, nephew of the bride.

Following the ceremony, the reception and dance were held at the Le Mars Convention Center.

Karen is a graduate of Strongsville High School and attended Kent State University in Ohio. She is a real estate loan secretary at American Bank, N.A. in Le Mars.

Mark is a graduate of Gehlen Catholic High School and the University of Northern Colorado. He is employed at Nuebel Chevrolet in Le Mars.

The couple met in August, 1998 in Orlando, Florida while Mark was working at the Wide Wide World of Sports Complex at Walt Disney World.

They are at home at 321 Fourth Ave. S.W. in Le Mars. They will be traveling to Mexico for their wedding trip in the near future.
