Stacey and Matt Galles
Stacey Landis of Le Mars and Matt Galles of Remsen, were united in marriage Aug. 1, 2003, at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Remsen.

The Rev. Tim Johnson was officiant at the 5 p.m. double ring ceremony.

Parents are Phil and Mary Landis of Le Mars and Dale and Rose Galles of Marcus.

Providing nuptial music were Bev Alesch and John Schneider asvocalists and Susan Mohning as organist.

The bridal gown was fashioned with a halter top highlighted with pearl beading and cathedral train. She carried blue and white roses.

Matron of honor was Stephanie Gengler, Merrill, sister of the bride, with Kathie McDermott of Breda, sister of the bride; Brenda Galles, Le Mars, sister of the bridegroom; Jamie Alesch of Remsen and Kari Finnegan of Sioux Falls, S.D., as bridesmaids. Flowergirl was Bethany Specht.

Bridal attendants wore two-piece floor length sky blue gowns and each carried blue and white roses.

Best man was Greg Galles of Marcus. Groomsmen were Gerry Alesch of Marcus; Fred Landis, brother of the bride, of George, Kory Alesch of Remsen and Nate Galles of Fort Dodge. Ringbearer was Calvin McDermott, nephew of the bride.

Matt Schmillen, Brian Letsche and Mike Staab seated the guests.

The wedding dinner and reception followed the ceremony at the Avalon in Remsen.

Stacey graduated from Le Mars Community High School in 1999 and from Mount Mercy College in 2003. She is currently full-time substitute and assistant volleyball coach in Granville, and is employed at Fuel 'N More in Le Mars.

Matt is a 1995 graduate of Marcus-Meriden -Cleghorn High School and is self-employed as a farmer.

Following their wedding trip to Colorado Springs, the couple is at home in Remsen.
