LE MARS--William Hebeler, 57, died Aug. 26, 2003, at Aurora, Colo.
William Gary Hebeler was born March 30, 1946, in Akron, the son of Raymond and Helen (Rollins) Hebeler. He married Barb Muth Sept. 2, 1972, at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Akron. He farmed in the Akron area and was employed by Load King in Elk Point, So. Dak. He was later employed by Mid American Energy in Cherokee and Le Mars as a meter man for 16 years. In his free time he loved cars.
Survivors include his wife, Barb Hebeler of Le Mars; three daughters, Marty Jo Hebeler and her husband John Brask of Denver, Colo., Monti Ann Hebeler and special friend Tim Molzen of Merrill, and Tonya Mae Hebeler of Le Mars; his mother, Helen Hebeler of Akron; two brothers, Dean Hebeler and Bob Hebeler, both of Akron; two sisters, Mary Ellen Powell of Akron and Jo Ann Swanson and her husband, Bruce, of Omaha; and two nieces.
He was preceded in death by his father.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Akron, with Msgr. Richard Zenk officiating. Burial will be in the Riverside Cemetery at Akron.
Visitation is from 9 a.m. until service time Friday at the Schroeder Funeral Home in Akron.
