The engagement and approaching marriage of Nicki Anderson and Jim Nicholas of Spirit Lake, is made known by their parents, Carl and Carol Anderson of Le Mars, Don and Peggy Mueller of Macomb, Ill., and Jim and Carol Nicholas, Phoenix, Ariz.

The couple will be married Sept. 27, 2003, in a 5 p.m. ceremony on the lake front at The Inn at Okoboji. The reception will follow at The Inn.

Nicki is a 1997 graduate of Le Mars Community High School and a 2001 graduate of Minnesota State University, Mankato. She is program director for the Iowa Great Lakes Area Chamber of Commerce.

Jim is a 1996 graduate of Macomb High School and a 2001 graduate of The Scottsdale Culinary Institute. He is executive chef for The Deer Run Restaurant in Estherville.
