Marie Desaulniers and Paul N. Miller were united in marriage June 29, 2003, at Christ Chapel, Gustavus Adolphus College, St. Peter, Minn.

Parents of the couple are Dan and Michele Desaulniers of Eden Prairie, Minn., and the Rev. Curtis and Sharyl Miller of Cottonwood, Minn., formerly of Storm Lake.

Grandparents are Virginia DuBord of Danvers, Mass.; Eleanor Desaulniers of Williamsport, Pa.; and George and Martha Vander Tuig and Herman Miller, all of Le Mars.

Nuptial music was provided by a brass quintet with Sarah Miller, sister-in-law of the bridegroom, as organist.

Bridal attendants were Sarah Brenckman, Angela Ziebarth, Katie Johnson and Ashley Bensfield who wore hunter green gowns and carried wildflower bouquets.

Attending the bridegroom were his brothers, Eric Miller of Portland, Ore., and Nathan Miller of Eau Claire Wis.; the bride's brother, Tim Desaulniers of Eden Prairie, and David Mead of Ames.

Annie and Justin Laursen and Neil Pfeiffer seated the guests.

A reception followed the ceremony at Alumni Hall at the college.

The bride is a 1998 graduate of Eden Prairie High School and her husband graduated in 1998 from Storm Lake High School in Storm Lake. Both are 2002 graduates of Gustavus Adolphus College.

Marie has completed one year of graduate work at Wolf Ridge Envioronmental Learning Center, Finland, Minn., and Paul is a graduate student at The Lutheran Theological Seminary at Philadelphia.

Following a wedding trip to the West Coast, the couple will reside in Philadelphia while Paul is in seminary.
