Stephanie and Jeff Gengler
Stephanie Landis of Le Mars and Jeff Gengler of Hinton, were united in marriage June 21, 2003, at St. James Catholic Church in Le Mars. The double ring ceremony took place at 2:30 p.m.

Parents are Phil and Mary Landis of Le Mars and Larry and Sue Gengler of Merrill.

Tom and Mary Nilles were soloists, accompanied at the organ by Carla Jenness.

The bride wore a halter-top wedding gown with side wrap at the waistline. The bottom opened like an "A", revealing a second layer embedded with beads. She carried a bridal bouquet of hunter green and white roses entwined in baby's breath.

Maid of honor was the bride's sister, Stacey Landis of Le Mars. Alisha Gengler of Merrill, Nichole Langel of Le Mars, Dionna Schmidt of Yankton, S.D., and Lori Finnegan of Sioux Falls, S.D., were bridesmaids. Flowergirl was Morgan Schoenrock.

Bridal attendants gowns were in colors and style complementing the bridal gown. Each carried a miniature bouquet consisting of white and hunter green roses.

Curt Gengler of Merrill was best man with Jason Schoenrock of Hinton, Jared Schoenrock of Le Mars, Justin Schoenrock of Hinton and Pete Holtgrewe of Merrill, as groomsmen. Ringbearer was Dawson McDermott.

Seating the guests were Fred Landis, Lee Nilles and Todd Osterbuhr.

The dinner and reception followed the ceremony at the Brunsville Legion Hall.

Stephanie earned her degree in elementary education at Mount Marty College in Yankton. She is employed at Wal-Mart.

Jeff graduated from Wyoming Tech in Laramie, Wyo., and earned his degree in diesel technology. He is employed with the Plymouth County Secondary Roads department.

Following their wedding trip to the Black Hills, the couple is at home in Merrill.
