Remsen farmer joins Ganske team

Monday, September 16, 2002

Kenneth Maass, a farmer from rural Remsen, has volunteered to lead the "Farmers for Ganske" campaign in Plymouth County.

Ganske has represented Iowa's Fourth District in Congress for four terms. After redistricting around the Des Moines area, Ganske announced his campaign against incumbent Democrat Tom Harkin for the U.S. Senate.

The statewide organization of Farmers for Ganske is chaired by Dean Kleckner, immediate past president of the American Farm Bureau Federation and a former president of the Iowa Farm Bureau.
