Smoke detectors prevent injury from Westfield fire

Fire caused an estimated $50,000 damage to a home south of Westfield Sunday. The cause of the fire at 27902 Concord Avenue is still being investigated, a Plymouth County Sheriff's Office press release stated. Akron firefighters responded to the fire call at 8:03 a.m. and remained at the residence for 3 1/2 hours...
