Merrill, DOT seek alley solution for highway project (07/12/11)
Planning is underway to make Highway 75 a safer route through Merrill. The average daily traffic through Merrill was 12,200 vehicles a day, according to the Iowa Department of Transportation 2007 Annual Average Daily Traffic Report. The number of vehicles leaving the highway daily to travel west was 420 and the eastbound traffic was 560 vehicles, the report stated...
