Troops train for Afghanistan: Getting ready for the real thing (06/23/10)
National Guard soldiers based in Le Mars are spending several weeks at Camp Ripley, Minn., in preparation for mobilization to Afghanistan this fall. They leave in October or November for Afghanistan along with about 3,000 other troops from Iowa's Second Brigade Combat Team -- the largest Iowa National Guard deployment since World War II.
Sales tax, grant will lower annex building's price tag (06/23/10)
