Sewer cleaning begins in southern Le Mars (08/24/09)
Residents in southern Le Mars may experience minor sewer problems for the next few weeks while the sewer lines are cleaned for that section. Work on the sewer lines begins today (Monday). People living in the area south of First Street Southwest to 18th Street South and from Fourth Avenue Southwest to Seventh Avenue Southeast may see traffic congestion and minor sewer problems, according to Ron Kayser, superintendent of the Le Mars Wastewater Treatment Facility...

She was baptized and confirmed into the Christian faith at Trinity Lutheran Church in Climbing Hill. She attended country school near Oto, and graduated from Oto Public School in 1937...
