County OKs borrowing up to $100,000 (05/23/07)
After hearing no comments in a public hearing on Tuesday, the county supervisors unanimously authorized borrowing up to $100,000, a move they planned for in March budget talks. Motorcyclist killed in accident north of Hawarden (05/23/07)
An Olivet, South Dakota man was killed in a one-motorcycle accident three miles north of Hawarden, the Sioux County Sheriff's Office reported. At 9:52 a.m., Saturday, May 19, the Sioux County Sheriff's Office received a 911 call, reporting a one-vehicle had occurred on Highway 10. The accident happened sometime during the late night hours on Friday, May 18, or the early morning hours of May 19.
