WITCC levy squeaks through (03/09/05)
In Plymouth County election results Tuesday were even closer than the district at large for Western Iowa Tech Community College. Plymouth County's unofficial results from the auditor's office shows 801 voters split 51 to 49 percent in favor of establishing a levy for the purchase of educational equipment. Friends of St. Mary's Ball is April 2 (03/09/05)
The 14th annual Friends of St. Mary's Ball, set for Saturday, April 2, will have an "Enchanted Garden" theme. Le Mars considers LOST funding (03/09/05)
The Le Mars city council said they would wait for public feedback about the recommendations from the advisory board on local option sales tax funding for local projects. The council meets again March 15. The total of $517,321 is about 90 percent of the amount of sales tax funds expected to be available for the year.
