A Beautiful Harvest (11/13/01)

You could say Le Mars had two of almost everything on the Class 3A District 1 all-district football team that has been released. Shop locally -- it's a two-way bargain (11/13/01)
It was great to see a downtown Le Mars packed with cars Saturday and Sunday with shoppers rushing from store to store. That traffic continued at stores along the highway. While some shoppers took advantage of the bargains tied to the annual bag sale, others were simply focused with shelves full of new merchandise. The good weather encouraged people to start their Christmas shopping or simply to catch up on shopping ignored since Sept. 11...
